With over 15 years of experience in High-end Interior Design, Anna Maria Smylie brings a refined artistic eye and a deep understanding of how space impacts well-being.
Her foundation in Fine Art and Design was shaped at the City & Guilds of London Art School (2007–2008), followed by a BA in Interior & Spatial Design from the University of the Arts London.
Before launching Anna Maria Interiors in 2015, Anna Maria honed her craft at leading, award-winning interior designs studio, contributing to a wide range of luxury residential and bespoke projects. Her portfolio spans from elegant London townhouses to international properties in Monaco, Ibiza, Russia, and the Channel Islands.
Driven by the belief that "we shape our buildings; thereafter they shape us," Anna Maria focuses on creating deeply personal interiors tailored to the rhythms of everyday life. Her work explores the therapeutic potential of design, considering how each element—light, layout, materials, and function - affects mood, flow, and quality of life.
By integrating mindfulness into the design process, she uncovers the unique needs of each client, refining the layout to support well-being and purpose. Whether it’s maximising natural light, incorporating symbolic artwork, designing smart storage, or choosing the ideal finishes, every detail is intentional.
